Taphouse West Bar and Grille

Average place, don't order steak (NY Strip was 1/2 gristle & fat)... scallops were good. Overworked waitress was nice.

Response about getting a manager and new steak.... No thanks. Check your products before serving them. Why would we wait even longer for ONE Person's meal while the other one eats alone. Restaurants should be aware of what they are serving so the patron doesn't have to go through that. Which ,btw, is embarrassing and can result in a "spit" steak.. ih, and a QUICK mention! She was so busy, there would have been nothing quick about it🙄

My husband and I were planning to go to Longboard last night for burgers but since they were closed we decided to try Taphouse. I’m so glad we did. The Taphouse burger is outstanding! It’s easily the best burger I’ve had on the eastern shore and in the top tree best burgers I’ve ever had, period. I’m not a smash burger fan as they’re usually burnt. These were a perfect medium temp and so juicy. The bacon was crispy, also not burned, and the sauce was delicious as well. Despite being really juicy the burger was so easy to eat. Everything was evenly sliced and perfectly layered. No strangely large tomato chunks or onion slices. I finished the whole thing without getting any sauce or cheese on my hands and clothes. You could order this burger on a first date. The bun! Kind of like a salted sesame bagel that held everything together really well without being too hard or difficult to squish. The sides are delicious also—asparagus and fries both were fresh and made to order. Our amazing server was slammed and triple seated when we got there but handled the whole restaurant with ease and a smile. We will be back!

The food and service was very good. But my wife did have some stomach issues the day from Fish & Chips. She believed it was the breading.

Anyway, it's a great place to watch sports. There about 12 flat screen TV's on the walls.
